Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Service Description
BookOne.Party is operated by 1001474668 ONTARIO INC. ("we," "us," or "the Platform"), a private venue booking platform based in Toronto, Canada. We connect consumers seeking private event spaces with bars, restaurants, and other venue owners who offer bookable private or semi-private areas.
Our AI-powered intake system collects event details via phone call or SMS, matches your requirements with suitable venues, and facilitates the proposal and booking process.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Consumers: No account is required to use our booking service. You interact with our platform via phone call or SMS to our published phone number.
Venue Owners: By signing up your venue on BookOne.Party, you represent that you have the authority to offer private event bookings on behalf of the venue. Venue accounts are authenticated via phone-based OTP or magic link.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Booking Process
The booking process works as follows:
- A consumer contacts BookOne.Party via phone or SMS to provide event details.
- Our system matches the event with suitable venues based on capacity, availability, and preferences.
- Matched venues receive a notification and may submit a proposal with pricing and space details.
- The consumer reviews proposals and selects a venue.
- Upon selection, a booking fee is charged to confirm the reservation.
BookOne.Party acts as an intermediary. We do not own, operate, or manage any venues. The contractual relationship for the event itself is between the consumer and the venue.
4. Fees and Payments
Booking fee: A non-refundable booking fee of $50 CAD (or as otherwise stated in the proposal) is charged to the consumer upon selecting a venue proposal. This fee confirms your reservation and is processed securely via Stripe.
Venue charges: Any minimum spend, food and beverage costs, or other charges are determined by the venue and are separate from the BookOne.Party booking fee. These are settled directly with the venue.
Payment processing: All payments are processed by Stripe. BookOne.Party does not store your credit card or payment information. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
5. Cancellation Policy
The booking fee is non-refundable once charged. If you need to cancel or modify your event after selecting a venue, you must contact the venue directly to discuss any changes.
BookOne.Party does not currently offer an automated cancellation or refund process. For exceptional circumstances, please contact us at support@bookone.party.
6. Venue Responsibilities
Venue owners who use BookOne.Party agree to:
- Provide accurate information about their venue, spaces, capacity, and availability.
- Respond to booking requests in a timely manner.
- Honor the terms of any proposal they submit and that a consumer accepts.
- Comply with all applicable local laws, licensing requirements, and health and safety regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability
BookOne.Party is a marketplace and matchmaking service. We are not a party to any agreement between consumers and venues. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any venue or event experience.
- We are not liable for any disputes between consumers and venues, including issues related to event quality, cancellations by the venue, or property damage.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the booking fee paid by the consumer for the relevant transaction.
